|i'm thankful for fedora

It's Thanksgiving week here in the US, so for our international contributors, you might want to keep in mind that most US-based Fedora folks will be on vacation starting sometime between right now and Wednesday, and not be back until Monday November 26th.
This is part of why we wanted to make sure that Fedora 8 was finished at the *beginning* of November.
For those of you wondering about me, I'm going to try to have a bit of a lighter week. I have been tying up a few loose ends this morning (and speaking to Red Hat's New Hire Orientation). This afternoon I am going to look at the proofs of the Fedora 8 CDs and DVDs and make sure that we are happy with the way they look.
Tuesday is the Fedora Board meeting, and Wednesday is the Fedora Store SIG meeting, and then I'm going to try to lay low a little bit until next week.
Your fearless leader also has some culinary skills, and I'll be cooking up a few things for Thursday, and watching American football.
In other news, the British football team that I am a co-owner of played to a draw in its first match this weekend. Go Ebbsfleet United!
I hope that all the Fedora folks who are taking vacation this week have a nice, relaxing break. Thanks for all of your efforts leading up to Fedora 8.
