The results of the interview that I did with Slashdot went up today. I'm pleased with how it turned out. Judging from what I've seen in the comments so far, it's a good day for Fedora.

Merging extras?

I rather like the idea of merging extras and fedora core into a single repository system. However how will this affect the attempts by the fedora project to get FSF approval? I've noticed that some packages have been moved from core to extras for this purpose, will these packages be further removed from extras or will the project give up on FSF approval?
